Jianye Zou
Jianye (Jenny) is a Chinese illustrator, graphic designer and traditional Chinese calligrapher based in Floral Park, NY. She has a BFA for traditional Chinese calligraphy at Zhejiang University and a MFA for illustration art at Syracuse University.
Jenny loves to explore original graphic art with simple shapes and a few line works, combining soft colors, patterns, and textures. In her dreams, she draws buildings, forests, animals, and other imaginary things. Also, paper products, packaging, and album and book covers are her abiding passions.
Jane's artistic journey is not limited to her formal education. She is deeply intrigued by the rich folklore and local customs of East Asian countries. Her curiosity knows no bounds, and she is always eager to learn anything interesting about these cultural aspects from anyone.
